Meet the new Mets... same as the old Mets
With all of the blockbuster trade rumors flying around, this item was missed.
Mr. Met passed the torch yesterday to Condi Rice. Ms. Rice will take over as Mets mascot starting with the next series against the Marlins.
Rice was quoted as saying "I know my head is slightly smaller, but that won't stop me from performing my duties".
At press time, Sonny could not be reached for comment.

it's more "Mr Met focused"... there's a huge difference
yeah..maybe we should talk about a team that is spending $163 million more than the toronto blue jays, yet have nearly identical records at this point. now that is hot.
