Jewtopia Now!

First things first. I saw GlenGarry GlenRoss tonight and what a great show. If anyone hasn't seen this movie (featuring a jumped the shark Al Pacino), i suggest you go out and get it. A great cast put on a great show, and it was great. Liev Schreiber plays the incomparable Richard Roma and it was quite enjoyable.

While perusing the Playbill's listing of shows, I ran across a little show called Jewtopia. the tagline was "A jewish Man searches for the perfect jewish girl". Made me think of two guys named Holzer & Goldberg. Maybe they should check it out. Maybe they'll meet some nice girls there.

A couple of suggestions for people:

1) Watch The Deadliest Catch on Discovery Channel. If you have DVR, do it, you won't be disappointed

2) if you want a thoroughly random drunken evening of drinking manhattans, rob roy's or cosmos for the girls, go to bemmelman's bar and see loston harris. a unique experience you won't forget

3) I heard the boat basin has been open for a little while now. i think everyone should go there one Saturday afternoon.


For all those that had other suggestions for sushi, that was just MY top 5. while sushi samba does have a nice upstairs, soetimes the tradeoff between fanciness, and just the taste of good fish is not all its cracked up to be
